“Denim Ocean” is a dynamic composition of 16 unique squares crafted from recycled denim and linen, blending the pliable properties of denim with the fluid form of water. Inspired by denim’s versatility and the rolling nature of waves, I designed modules that capture the essence of movement and texture. The composition goes beyond the exploration of form–it explores sustainable means of design. Each module is made of old clothing, and the frame is made from delivery boxes. “Denim Ocean” has inspired and challenged me to explore the limits of architecture and sustainability within my work.
